I fell in love with the beautiful colors and creative possibilities of watercolors. Then, I discovered the incredible variety of calligraphic/lettering styles and tools. Depending on my subject or mood, I also enjoy using other mediums from time to time, such as colored pencil, pastels, and collage.

Although I'm most attracted to flora and fauna, due to my upbringing and where I live, no subject matter escapes my brush or pen. Little ideas and big ideas are constantly evolving - I'm in unceasing awe of what I see or imagine, and love capturing these catalysts on paper. I'm curious, I explore, I express, and I'm here - I'm alive!
